Big K.R.I.T.- Live from the Underground (Album Feature)


Big K.R.I.T. blesses us with his debut studio album, and southern hiphop fans couldn't be happier. The entire album exuberates that smooth, slow-burn, twilight-out melodic kuntry sound with those punchy as hell kickdrums, sultry bass lines and his familiar skits. That southern swagger moulds his snappy rhymes and effortless flow into one thumping masterpiece. He handles both production and writing, which is a testament to his raw talent.

I am a little reluctant to preview an album this early out of the release date... and I am evermindful of the thoughts of artists who work so hard for something for it to be handled without respect in terms of leaks. It is of such great quality I like to think I'm doing more good than bad by allowing a small population of people that most likely would have ignored an album as low-key in Australia to discover a new artist/sound that is: Big K.R.I.T. So with that having been said, if you like what you hear, support the artist!!
