Wow.... Jhene Aiko has been floating around the airwaves for a while if you've been a long-time Kendrick Lamar/TDE listener. Her angelic voice features on a few tracks here and there, mainly in uncredited backing vocals. This time she's enlisted the genius that is James Fauntleroy, a man who has already done so much in the music industry as a songwriter, and never once pushed for recognition. You would have heard of him in any Cocaine 80's tracks, and almost all tracks in Common's "The Dreamer, The Believer" (makes my top 5 for this year's albums). So it seems fitting that they work on a track together.. two quiet achievers. I guarantee that will change come 2013.
Not to mention... she's mighty mighty fine.
